Akiskinook has a private sandy beach and marina slips may be rented if availability permits. There are tennis courts, pickle ball courts, basketball court, a playground, and park benches to enjoy the grassy and treed grounds or the lake and mountain views. The forest surrounding our unit has short hiking trails for your children to explore. For activities indoor, the recreation centre features a heated pool and hot tub, exercise area and games room, change rooms with showers, TV and computer room, and a squash court.
You may use our canoe to explore Lake Windermere’s coastal treasures of marshes, birds, and the occasional island. Beyond Akiskinook grounds, there are numerous back roads and trails just waiting for you to hike or bike.
